Job Summary: Coronary Care Unit (CCU) Registered Nurse position in Chicago, Illinois. This role involves providing specialized cardiac care on the night shift, emphasizing expertise in titratable drips, bi-pap, and long-term ventilator management. The nurse will be responsible for delivering high-level telemetry and cardiac patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Illinois Registered Nurse License; BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications; 5 years minimum experience in a CCU or high-level telemetry setting; proficient with titratable drips, bi-pap, and long-term vents. Must be a strong cardiac nurse, with no rehabilitation background required.
Preferred Qualifications: Over 5 years of experience, IMCU and CCU experience.
Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
Additional Information: This position begins as soon as possible with a start date of 09/27/2026 and concludes on 01/17/2027. The assignment includes 12 hours of orientation and 6 hours of non-billable time. This is a bi-weekly paid position with credentials due the Thursday before the start date.
