Job Summary
Clinic Nurse - Richland, Washington. This outpatient clinic position involves primarily catheter exchanges, with recent hands-on experience in catheter management required. Job Details
- Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid Washington or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license, at least 1 year of clinical experience, outpatient clinic experience, recent catheter exchange experience within the last 6 months, certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Electronic Health Records, telehealth or telephone triage training, prior work in ER, pre/post-surgical, ambulatory, or home health settings, familiarity with Epic charting system.
- Willing to float between units, no on-call or weekend work required.
- The role entails catheter exchange procedures as the primary task, including suprapubic and self-catheterizations, with additional responsibilities such as patient education, laboratory result interpretation, and medication management.
- Must be experienced with sterile procedures, urinary procedures, and documentation systems.
- Willingness to train for telephone triage is a plus.
- Candidate must provide detailed interview availability, including time zones and multiple options.
- Two recent references covering the last 3 years are required.
- Candidates should not contact facility contacts directly unless for scheduled interviews.
- High emphasis on recent catheter exchange experience, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
