Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Salt Lake City, Utah. This role focuses on providing high-quality outpatient nursing care while supporting care coordination, patient education, preventive health services, immunizations, and clinical quality initiatives. The RN will work closely with providers and clinical staff to ensure safe, efficient, and patient-centered care. 

Responsibilities

• Provide professional outpatient nursing care, including assessments, triage, medication administration, immunizations, wound care, and patient education.
• Coordinate patient care, referrals, chronic disease management, and preventive services.
• Track and follow up on lab results, imaging, referrals, and outstanding clinical needs.
• Support infection prevention, patient safety, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for healthcare team members.
• Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic health record (EHR). 

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum 5 years of nursing experience preferred, ideally in outpatient, ambulatory, primary care, community health, or similar settings.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and care coordination skills.
