Job Summary:
This oncology outpatient clinic position is located in Farmington, Connecticut. It involves working within a medical oncology and hematology outpatient coverage pool, providing care to oncology patients in a hospital outpatient setting. The role offers a day shift with scheduled hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, working approximately 40 hours per week, with no weekends, no on-call duties, and no major holiday work required.

- Required Qualifications: Possession of a Connecticut (CT) license or a compact license, a minimum of 2 years' experience with oncology patients, prior travel experience, and experience working in outpatient ambulatory care or clinic settings.
- Additional Qualifications: Experience with CT licensing on file at time of submission, ONS chemotherapy immunotherapy provider card is preferred.
- Responsibilities: Answering phone call triages, problem solving to meet patient care needs, collaborating with the clinical team, and working closely with nursing staff in the chemotherapy infusion room without directly administering infusion therapies.

- Experience: Minimum of 2 years with a focus on oncology care; no minimum experience required beyond that.
- Additional Information: Incumbents may be required to lift and restrain patients, may have exposure to communicable/infectious diseases and risk of injury from assaultive/abusive patients, and might work in potentially disagreeable conditions. The role involves working as part of the units rotation pool, including some mandatory overtime to ensure adequate coverage.
