Travel Nurse RN - Correctional - $43 to $47 per hour in Grafton, OH

Duration: 3+ Months (possible extension)

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide professional nursing care within a state-operated facility, including assessment, monitoring, and documentation of patient conditions.
• Administer medications, treatments, and immunizations in accordance with prescribed care plans.
• Respond to medical emergencies, provide first aid/CPR, and coordinate hospital transfers when necessary.
• Monitor patients in restricted housing at required intervals and ensure timely medical attention.
• Develop and implement care plans; educate patients on treatment and health management.
• Perform specialized procedures such as IV therapy, wound care, oxygen therapy, catheterization, tube feeding, phlebotomy, and other advanced nursing interventions.
• Supervise and support LPNs and other healthcare staff as needed; assist with training and orientation.
• Maintain accurate medical records, medication logs (including controlled substances), and required reports.
• Coordinate appointments, prescriptions, and medical referrals; manage medical supplies and inventory.
