Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Float Nurse Location: Glendale, CA. This role involves delivering coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients in an acute care environment. The nurse collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, supervises junior staff, and employs critical thinking to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Job Details
Schedule: Day Shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN); Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor; at least 1 year of clinical experience, preferably in an acute care setting.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in an ICU or float nurse role.
Essential Functions: Collects relevant patient data; analyzes assessment information; develops and implements care plans; coordinates care delivery and promotes a safe environment; evaluates patient progress; collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare team members; provides education and discharge planning; delegates responsibilities appropriately; performs other duties as assigned.
Additional Information: Must have Epic experience.
