Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN Critical Care Float for a travel nursing job in Madison, Wisconsin.

Opportunity:
RN - ICU/CCU - FLOAT
Job Details:
• Work evening/night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM (8 or 12-hour shifts)
• 4x12 shift schedule also available if preferred
• Every other weekend required with some holiday coverage
• 6-7 weekend shifts per contract
• Patient ratio of 1:3 for both days and nights
• Float to multiple ICU units including Neuro ICU, Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic ICU, Burn ICU, Trauma, and Medical Surgical ICU, as well as IMC/Progressive care units
• Must have ICU experience with adult and geriatric populations
• IMC/Progressive/General care population experience required as needed
• Minimum 5 years of experience required
• Travel experience required
• Trauma Level I experience required
• Must be competent in multiple ICU specialties
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Must pass Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start (two attempts allowed)
• Telemetry exam passing criteria: 80% or higher, 100% identification of lethal rhythms, no incorrect answers on 3rd degree heart block questions
• Basic Arrhythmia experience required
• Travelers are required to float as needed
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility
• Wisconsin RN or compact RN license required
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS (AHA only)
• Preferred certifications: NIHSS, TNCC
• Key skills include: arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line care/management, continuous IV sedation and paralytics, CVVHD/CRRT, emergency medications, ICP monitoring, interpretation of ABGs and dysrhythmias, IV insulin protocols, pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring, titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips, ventilator management, and management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure

Operating as a Level 1 Trauma Center, the facility provides a high-acuity academic learning environment with a wide range of critical care specialties including Burn ICU, Neuro ICU, Cardiac ICU, and Trauma. Interdisciplinary support services include IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretaries.
