    Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN Critical Care Float for a travel nursing job in Madison, Wisconsin.

    Opportunity:

    RN - ICU/CCU - FLOAT

    Job Details:

    • Evening/Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with 8 or 12 hour shift options available
    • 4x12 shifts available if preferred
    • Every other weekend and some holidays required
    • 6-7 weekend shifts per contract
    • Float position covering multiple ICU units including Neuro ICU, CV/CT ICU, Burn ICU, Trauma, MSICU, and IMC/Progressive unit
    • Patient ratio of 1:3 on days and nights
    • Must pass Telemetry exam prior to starting - passing score of 80% or higher required with up to three attempts
    • 5 years of ICU experience required with adult and geriatric populations
    • Travel experience required
    • Trauma Level I experience required
    • Must be competent in multiple ICU specialties
    • Basic Arrhythmia experience required
    • Charge experience preferred
    • Previous Charge experience preferred
    • Epic charting system experience required
    • Wisconsin RN license or compact RN license required
    • Required certifications: ACLS and BLS (AHA only)
    • Additional certifications preferred: NIHSS, TNCC
    • Key skills required include: arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line care/management, continuous IV sedation and paralytics, CVA/Acute Stroke management, CVVHD/CRRT, emergency medications, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), ICP monitoring, interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs), interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, IV insulin protocols, management of multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, phlebotomy, PICC line management, pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring, titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips, ventilator management, and traumatic brain injury management
    • Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, rapid response teams, and social services
    • Travelers are required to float as needed
    • Locals within 50 miles of the facility are not accepted
