Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool Registered Nurse – Day or Night Shift

  • Schedule: Day Shift (07:00 – 19:00) OR Night Shift (19:00 – 07:00) | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours Per Week
    • Scheduling Details: Final shift assignment determined during interview. Only Requested Time Off (RTO) explicitly discussed and approved during interview will be honored.
  • Floating Protocol [HARDSTOP]:
    • Required to float across all regional hospital campuses (Main, Arrowhead, Avondale, and East Valley).
    • Required to float continuously between all pediatric critical care units: CVICU, PICU, and NICU.
  • Health & Compliance Mandates: Flu vaccination required October–April (exemptions must be pre-approved prior to start; unvaccinated clinicians must sign Declination & Masking Protocol and wear masks during respiratory season). COVID-19 vaccine recommended.
  • Assignment Duration: 25-Week Long-Term Contract (09/28/202603/27/2027) | 25 Open Positions (1/26 Booked)

Submission Hardstops [STRICT & NON-NEGOTIABLE]

  • Experience Baseline [HARDSTOP]: Minimum 2+ years of dedicated clinical RN experience in Pediatric Critical Care [HARDSTOP].
    • Critical Care Background Mandates: Experience in a Level III or IV NICU and dedicated Children's Hospital setting strongly preferred.
  • Education Baseline: ADN, BSN, or Nursing Diploma degree.
  • Licensure Requirements [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION]: Active Arizona State RN License or active eNLC Multistate Compact RN License [HARDSTOP].
  • Certifications [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION]:
    • Active AHA BLS (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers) certification [HARDSTOP].
    • Active AHA PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification [HARDSTOP].
    • Active AHA Advanced NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification [HARDSTOP].
