Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU OH) Nurse located in the hospital setting. This role involves providing competent clinical nursing care aligned with professional standards for patients with complex cardiovascular conditions. The position requires coordinating and delivering patient care utilizing the nursing process, with an emphasis on patient assessment, care planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Nursing Diploma or ADN/ASN from an accredited school of Nursing; Licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina; Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (AHA or ARC); one (1) year of nursing experience; schedule is Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Preferred Qualifications: BSN or MSN from an accredited school of Nursing.
• Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive patient care, including physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety aspects for patients with complex problems. Perform bedside point of care testing as required. Develop and adjust care plans collaboratively with patients and families, and participate in interdisciplinary team discussions to evaluate patient progress. Assist with discharge planning, patient education, and promote safety and cost-effective care. Communicate effectively with team members while using healthcare organization and nursing standards, policies, and procedures.
• Additional Information: Demonstrate competence in the care of patients with complex problems, utilize healthcare standards and policies, participate in performance improvement activities, and promote a safe hospital environment.
