Compensation & Schedule Details

  • Hours & Shift: 36 hours per week (12-hour Days, 0700–1900). 48-hour guarantees can be considered but are not guaranteed; no block schedule requests.
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks (Projected Start Date: September 28, 2026).
  • Attendance & Distance Rules: Strict attendance policy allowing only one call-out per contract. Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for travel rates.
  • Call & Floating Requirements: Call requirements apply. May float as needed to the Intermediate Care Unit (as primary RN) or for ED holding duties.

Key Facility Policies & Unit Scope

  • Unit Overview: 16-bed Level III Trauma Center and Certified Chest Pain Center. Patient ratios are 1:2. EMR is Medhost.
  • Common Diagnoses & Procedures: STEMI, NSTEMI, CABG, valve repair/replacement, TCAR/TVAR, CRRT, sepsis, acute respiratory failure, stroke, and trauma.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required, with specific CVICU experience required and prior travel experience preferred.
  • Licensure: Active Arizona (AZ) RN license or compact state license.
  • Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS required in hand.
  • Submittal Packet: Must include LifePoint Health candidate submission form, resume, candidate self-assessment, and skills checklist.
