CVICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Join our team as a CVICU Registered Nurse (RN) in a dynamic and challenging environment. We are seeking a dedicated professional to provide high-quality patient care during night shifts.

Shift Details

  • Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts
  • Shift Timing: 19:00 - 07:30
  • Every other weekend rotation required
  • Some holiday shifts may be necessary

Role Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients in the Cardiothoracic Surgery Unit.
  • Monitor and assess patient conditions utilizing advanced technology, including the NextStage CVVH machine.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Engage in patient and family education regarding treatment plans and care practices.

Qualifications

  • Current RN license is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are mandatory.
  • Prior experience in a CVICU is required.
  • Familiarity with the NextStage CVVH machine is essential.
  • Experience in Cardiothoracic Surgery and/or Acuity Adaptable areas is preferred.
  • Candidates must successfully pass a telemetry test prior to starting.
