Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CVICU RN experience
• Active Registered Nurse license; pending Utah RN license accepted if in hand prior to start
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Epic charting experience required
• CRRT experience required
• Swan-Ganz / pulmonary artery catheter experience required
• Experience with MCS devices such as Impella, IABP, LVAD/RVAD, and ECMO
• Strong critical care background managing ventilated patients and complex cardiac drips
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a high-acuity CVICU environment
• Monitor and manage patients requiring CRRT, Swan-Ganz monitoring, and advanced mechanical circulatory support
• Titrate vasoactive medications and cardiac drips based on patient condition and provider orders
• Care for ventilated patients and support respiratory management as needed
• Perform central line, arterial line, PICC, and IABP-related care and monitoring
• Interpret ABGs and dysrhythmias while responding quickly to changes in patient status
• Deliver safe, collaborative care alongside the interdisciplinary critical care team
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and uphold high standards of patient safety
