Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2-3 years of nursing experience, including at least 2 years in CVICU, CTICU, or a similar cardiac ICU setting
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• BLS certification through AHA
• ACLS certification required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Comfort working in a Level 1 trauma environment
• Ability to work rotating day and night shifts

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled, compassionate critical care to patients recovering from complex cardiac, thoracic, lung, and vascular surgeries
• Monitor critically ill patients requiring advanced cardiovascular and respiratory support in a CVICU/CTICU environment
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support safe, effective patient outcomes
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and prioritize care in a high-acuity intensive care setting
• Document accurately in the electronic medical record and maintain strong clinical communication
• Follow ICU protocols and contribute to a smooth, efficient workflow on the unit
