First Connect Health is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel nursing job in Redding, California.

Unit Notes
**Telemetry, L/D, Emergency and Critical Care RN's will take a proctored Dysrhythmia Test onsite, day one. This is a PASS/FAIL test!

Unit Cardiac ICU
# beds 30 beds
Certs ACLS, BLS, PALS
EMR Cerner
Ratios 1 to 1-2, 90% of the time will be 1to 2 ratio
Charge Nurse yes, do not take a pt assignment
Nurse Aides No
Weekend Requirement Every other, no holiday requirement at this time but they may be required to work
Scrub Color navy
Tele GE monitors
Vents Yes
Hospitalist or Intensivist in house Hospitalist 24/7
IV Team No
RT 24/7 yes
Pharmacy 24/7 Yes
Shifts 12 hour shifts, 6:45-7:15, schedules made out about 6 weeks in advance, self scheduling, however schedule is not finalized until manager is able to review
Floating any tele or medsurg units
Floor specific orientation 1 day of unit orientation
Common diagnosis / Types of patients
Additional Notes Candidates must have experience with fresh open hearts, this experience must also be recent, must also have expereince with mixed ICU patients as well
