Job Summary: The Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU OH) registered nurse position is based in Ewa Beach, Hawaii. This role involves providing highly specialized patient care within the cardiovascular intensive care setting. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to delivering exceptional nursing services and supporting patient recovery through skilled clinical practices.
Job Details:
Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 48 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred. Active, unencumbered Hawaii registered nurse license required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or Healthcare Provider (HCP), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required. Specialty certification(s) such as CCRN highly desired. Must pass EKG exam with 80% or better during orientation. All licenses and certifications must be valid at the time of application submission through the duration of the initial contract.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Medical/Surgical/Mixed ICU, CRRT experience, previous Queen's Health System traveler experience.
Float: Float rotation may be required as needed to similar or lesser acuity areas (such as Telemetry, Med/Surg, Emergency Department holds, Post Anesthesia Care Unit holds).
Additional Information: All compliance documentation must be completed no later than 10 days prior to the start date; failure to meet this deadline may delay or cancel the assignment. A current NURSYS report is required with submission. If no ICU RN is needed on the primary unit, the nurse may be assigned to provide nursing assistant or safety sitter duties.
