Job Summary Operating Room Open Heart Nurse Location: unspecified. The facility is seeking a qualified healthcare professional to provide specialized nursing support in an open heart surgery environment. The role involves working in a fast-paced cardiovascular unit with a focus on cardiac surgeries, heart failure, and transplant programs, following a rotating schedule.
Job Details:
Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license in the state of practice, Nursys license verification, professional badge photo, professional profile, two professional references, and successful completion of the Ascension skills checklist.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a cardiac surgery or open heart operating room environment is advantageous.
Additional Information: The role involves supporting cardiac surgeries, including robotic procedures, heart failure management, and transplant cases. Each case typically involves a circulating nurse, including but not limited to a Scrub Tech (FA), Circulating Nurse, and Heart Holder RN, working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
