Job Description:

Registered Nurse specializing in CVOR unit, responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with cardiovascular disorders. Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment and effectively manage patient care and medications.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care for patients with acute myocardial infarction, coronary artery disease, and peripheral vascular disease.
• Manage and operate intra-aortic balloon pumps and continuous renal replacement therapy equipment.
• Administer and titrate medications including Dexmedetomidine, Propofol, Dopamine, Norepinephrine, Epinephrine, and Insulin among others.
• Utilize in-room monitors for telemetry and interpret ECG strips.
• Collaborate with intensivists and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.

Requirements:

• Minimum of two years CVICU experience required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Proficiency in using Cerner charting system.
• Dysrhythmia exam must be passed within two attempts before contract signing.
• Ability to float to ICU, PCU, MS, and Tele units as needed.
