First Connect Health is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a travel nursing job in Portland, Oregon.
The Registered Nurse (RN) – CVOR provides specialized perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing complex cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgical procedures. The RN may function as a scrub and/or circulator and is responsible for maintaining a safe surgical environment, supporting the surgical team, and ensuring high-quality patient care throughout the perioperative process.
The ideal candidate will have strong cardiovascular operating room experience, excellent knowledge of cardiac surgical procedures and instrumentation, and the ability to respond effectively to cardiac emergencies.

Seaside Floating: If a traveler booked at a non-Seaside facility is asked to float to Seaside, they will receive an additional $5/hour incentive for hours worked at Seaside, in addition to applicable IRS mileage reimbursement.
If consecutive shifts are required while floating, a hotel may additionally be provided. The facility will provide as much notice as possible for Seaside floating assignments.

The ideal candidate is an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse with strong cardiovascular surgical knowledge and hands-on cardiac scrub experience. The candidate should be proficient in both scrub and circulator responsibilities, comfortable responding to cardiac emergencies, and capable of supporting complex cardiovascular procedures in a high-acuity surgical environment.
