Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to support cardiovascular procedural care in a cardiac catheterization lab environment. This 13-week travel nursing assignment offers the opportunity to work with a skilled interdisciplinary team, build valuable specialty experience, and contribute to exceptional outcomes for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.

• Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour schedule (07:00 - 17:30)
• Shift Duration: 10 hours

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250 - $2,370
• Orientation: 16 hours
• Setting: Cardiac Cath Lab / Cardiovascular Procedural Care

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience
• Prior experience in a cardiac cath lab or cardiovascular procedural setting preferred
• ACLS and BLS certification required
• Experience with charting systems required; any system experience accepted
• Comfort with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Experience with procedural sedation monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Ability to complete orientation testing and required onboarding modules before start

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care for patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures
• Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations
• Monitor hemodynamic status, procedural sedation, and patient responses throughout care
• Support left and right heart catheterization procedures and related interventions
• Interpret and respond to dysrhythmias as part of procedural monitoring
• Collaborate closely with physicians and the procedural team to ensure efficient patient flow
• Document accurately in the charting system and maintain compliance with unit standards
• Contribute to a professional, team-oriented environment focused on excellent patient outcomes
