CVOR Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled CVOR Registered Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in assisting with complex surgical procedures, as well as ensuring the highest standards of patient care.

Schedule

  • Shift: 3x12 hour shifts, Monday to Friday from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
  • No on-call requirement
  • Holiday coverage may be required for one major holiday, either on-call or in-house

Responsibilities

  • Circulate complex surgical cases including but not limited to:
    • Adult Heart and Lung Transplant
    • Type A Dissections
    • Coronary Artery Bypass Grafts (CABG)
    • Valvular Surgery
    • Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)
    • Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) repair
    • Diagnostic and Exploratory Laparoscopies
    • Endovascular Aneurysm Repair (EVAR, TEVAR, FEVAR)
  • Scrub for cardiac and vascular surgical procedures preferred

Qualifications

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years of registered nursing experience
  • Registered Nurse license in South Carolina or multi-state license required to start
  • Current certifications in BLS and ACLS (must be AHA certified)
  • Radiation badge required, which will be provided by the agency

Additional Information

  • Local candidates within a 60-mile radius are accepted on a case-by-case basis
  • All requested time off must be provided at the time of submission for consideration
  • The facility may call off travelers for one shift per two-week pay period

  • Parking: $20 registration fee for a parking permit, enabling use of the designated parking garage

Note: All employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June through November). Please confirm your availability accordingly.
