Travel Nursing Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,750–$2,890

- Assignment Type: 13-week travel Registered Nurse assignment
- Assignment Dates: November 9, 2026–February 8, 2027
- Schedule: Five 8-hour day shifts per week
- Shift: 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m., with the potential to move to 9:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Call: One night of call per week and every fourth or fifth weekend, from Friday at 6:00 p.m. through Monday at 7:30 a.m.
- Unit Details: Adult cardiac catheterization lab with four procedure rooms
- Charting: Epic
- Orientation: 40 hours
- Scheduling Note: Block scheduling cannot be accommodated; requested time off must be submitted at the time of application
Cardiac Catheterization Lab RN Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Pennsylvania at the time of submission
- At least 3 years of recent cardiac catheterization lab nursing experience
- Experience with both diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Prior Epic electronic health record charting experience
- Strong knowledge of cardiac rhythm interpretation, procedural sedation monitoring, vascular access, sheath management, and post-procedure care
- Ability to participate in scheduled weekday and weekend call coverage
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and critical-thinking skills

CVOR Registered Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care to adult patients before, during, and after cardiac catheterization procedures
- Support diagnostic catheterizations, coronary angiography, percutaneous coronary interventions, stent placement, and other interventional cardiac procedures
- Prepare patients, verify procedural readiness, establish and maintain IV access, and administer medications and emergency therapies as ordered
- Monitor hemodynamic status, cardiac rhythms, procedural sedation, and recovery progress
- Assist with sheath removal, vascular closure systems, bleeding control, and post-procedure site assessments
- Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition, dysrhythmias, and procedural complications
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team during complex cardiovascular procedures, including structural heart and vascular interventions as assigned
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, medications, and outcomes in Epic
- Provide patient and family education related to procedures, recovery, medications, and discharge instructions
- Maintain radiation safety, infection prevention, and compliance with cardiac catheterization lab protocols
