HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a travel nursing job in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

Job Description & Requirements

CVOR RN  6:00 AM- 3:00 PM CALL/13 WEEKS

Number of OR Suites - 3

·         Number of Staff –  11

·         Type of staff:

o    Day Shift – 1 charge nurse, 3 or 4 RN’s, 2 Scrub Techs, 1 Aide or Anesthesia Tech

o    Night Shift – 3 member call team

·         Patient Ratios – 3 staff members per OR

·         Type of equipment – Open Heart, Vascular, Thoracic

·         EMR - Meditech

Typical hiring profile

Skill Set Most recruited for:  (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)

Must have:  candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

·         Cardiac, Vascular and Thoracic Operating Room Experience

·         Punctuality, 30 min call back time, flexible schedule

Preferred or nice to have:  candidates with these skills will be considered first.

·          Ability to scrub Cardiac and Vascular cases

·          Experience with Meditech EMR

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):  

·          CABG, Valves, TAVR, EVAR, TEVAR, Carotid endarterectomy, fistula creation/interventions, VATS, thoracomy, fem-pop bypass, angiograms with interventions, LVAD, RVAD, ECMO

·          Level 2 trauma coverage for all vascular and thoracic procedures
