Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a travel nursing job in Wausau, Wisconsin.

Opportunity:

RN - CVOR

Job Details:

• 8-hour various day shifts, Monday through Friday
• 40 hours guaranteed per week
• 13-week contract
• On-call requirements include 1 night of call per week, 1 weekend per month, and 1 backup per week with potential for additional call as needed
• 30-minute response time required to be ready in the OR for on-call shifts
• A personal vehicle is required due to the 30-minute on-call response time
• Every 3rd to 4th weekend and holiday rotation required
• Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required
• Minimum 3+ years of OR experience with anesthesia experience required
• Prior travel experience required
• Required certifications: AHA or ARC BLS, ACLS, and Wisconsin RN License or compact RN license
• Proficiency with Epic, Cell Saver, and Belmont required
• Strong OR/CVOR circulating experience required
• Prior experience with conscious sedation a plus
• Required skills include assisting with intubations, fiber optic scopes during intubation, sterile techniques with central lines, assisting with placement of arterial lines, central lines, lumbar drains, Swan Ganz catheters, starting IVs, drawing labs, and setting up medication pumps
• Experience running Belmont, Cell Saver, and Level I required
• Assist anesthesia team with heart surgeries, traumas, elective surgeries, and general surgeries
• Assigned to 4-5 rooms per day across 21 ORs covering all specialties
• Main focus on cardiothoracic program
• Must be flexible, a strong critical thinker, and willing to perform downtime tasks as needed
• 2-week orientation process with training for additional anesthesia skills as needed
• Scrub colors provided
