Job Summary: The operating room with open heart specialty is seeking a highly skilled cardiovascular operating room nurse in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. The ideal candidate will have experience scrub and circulating in cardiac surgical procedures, working within a hybrid catheterization lab environment. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a smaller hospital setting while supporting advanced cardiovascular surgeries in the Colorado Rockies.
Job Details:
Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications:
Certifications: Current Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact license for Colorado
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) through the American Heart Association
Experience: 2 years of high-volume intraoperative RN experience in cardiovascular operating room (CVOR)
Preferred Qualifications: Not specified
Additional Information:
Traveler's permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility
Out-of-state agencies must register in the Colorado system and specify their out-of-state status and presence in Colorado
Ensure accurate Social Security number and date of birth in Medefis to avoid onboarding issues
