IU Health University Hospital is seeking a highly specialized Registered Nurse for their Apheresis - Pathology Lab unit. This role focuses on high-acuity therapeutic treatments, including Photopheresis and Red Blood Cell exchanges. The unit operates on a 1:1 patient ratio, ensuring intensive, focused care for patients with complex diagnoses.

Schedule & Call Requirements

• Shift: 4x10-Hour Days.
• Call: Rotating call is required.
• Start Date: 05/25/2026.
• Pre-Approved Time Off: Maximum 1 request allowed.

Key Responsibilities & Equipment

• Therapeutic Procedures: Perform Therapeutic Plasma Exchange (Plasmapheresis), Red Blood Cell Exchange, and Blood Primes.
• Specialized Treatments: Conduct Photopheresis treatments.
• Equipment: Proficiency with CellEx equipment is required.
• Access Management: Initiate and set up treatments via Tunneled/Non-Tunneled catheters, AV fistulas, and AV grafts.
• Patient Population: Care for adolescents and adults diagnosed with GVHD (Graft-versus-host disease), BO (Bronchiolitis obliterans), and CTCL (Cutaneous T-cell lymphoma).

• Unit Layout: 8 Rooms / 8 Beds.
• Support Staff: IV Teams, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and Social Services.
