Medical Surgical/Dialysis RN – Kealakekua, HI
Location: Kealakekua, HI
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days
We are seeking an experienced Medical Surgical/Dialysis Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Kealakekua, Hawaii.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to Medical-Surgical and inpatient Dialysis patients
- Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer hemodialysis treatments and monitor patient responses
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure high-quality patient care
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and dialysis care
Requirements:
- Active RN License
- Minimum 2 years of recent inpatient Dialysis RN experience
- Medical-Surgical and Dialysis experience required
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using the NxStage System One Dialysis Machine with the Cartridge 500 Closed System
- Previous precepting or staff education experience
