Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN DOU - Direct Observation Unit for a travel nursing job in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin.

$500 CONTRACT COMPLETION BONUS
Opportunity:
RN - Med Surg/Observation
Job Details:
• 12-hour shifts with every other weekend rotation required
• Every other holiday expected
• No on-call responsibilities
• Minimum 18 months of experience required
• First-time travelers are not eligible
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Care for post-surgical, CVA, sepsis, pneumonia, trauma, MI, pediatrics, and obstetric emergency patients
• Proficiency in airway management and RSI knowledge, cardiac drips, codes, CVA and STEMI management required
• Charting via Epic EMR system
• IV pumps: Alaris; medication dispensing via Pyxis
• Support staff includes ED techs, LPN, charge nurse, phlebotomy, VAT team, US guided IV trained RNs, respiratory therapy, hospitalist (24/7), and OT/PT/ST services
• No floating required
• Orientation includes NEO and 2 twelve-hour shifts on the unit
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC
• Scrub color: Navy blue

This facility is a 60-bed Level 4 Trauma and stroke-ready facility featuring 17 exam rooms and a 4-bed observation unit. The facility provides comprehensive support services including 24/7 hospitalist coverage, respiratory therapy, and occupational, physical, and speech therapy services, ensuring a well-rounded care environment for both patients and clinical staff.
