• Position Description: An Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) provides rapid, high-quality nursing care to patients experiencing acute illnesses, injuries, and life-threatening emergencies. The ER RN works in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing patient needs through triage, assessment, intervention, stabilization, and ongoing evaluation.
• Required Qualifications: Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification. No minimum years of experience specified; position requires 0 years.
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include performing rapid and comprehensive patient assessments, monitoring vital signs and cardiac rhythms, administering medications and treatments, operating emergency equipment, and collaborating with the healthcare team. Candidates must have strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and effective communication skills to handle high-pressure emergency situations.
