Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse in Waco, Texas. This role involves providing direct nursing care in a busy emergency department environment, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, and coordinating discharge planning with the healthcare team. The position requires delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced setting and serving as a primary coordinator for multidisciplinary team efforts.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), in-state or eligible to practice in Texas, and a minimum of 0 years of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are preferred.
• Additional Information: Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Serves as a primary coordinator of patient care, notes and carries out physician and nursing orders, and assesses discharge planning needs.
