Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Weatherford, Texas.

Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) position in Weatherford, TX. This role involves providing high-quality emergency care in a busy, Level IV trauma, primary stroke, and Chest Pain Accredited with PCI (STEMI 24/7) facility. The position requires a dynamic individual capable of handling standard emergency department procedures and working effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights shift with 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Texas RN license, minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience, certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, NIHSS.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with the Meditech documentation system.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information:
    • Number of beds: 23
    • Patient ratios: 4:1
    • Unit staffing: RNs and techs on lobby and secretarial support
    • Procedures: Standard ED procedures including trauma, stroke care, STEMI protocols, chest pain management
    • Dress code: Royal blue scrubs, neat and professional appearance, no artificial nails or visible piercings (other than ears), body art should be covered, slip-resistant athletic shoes.
