Job Requirements

• Active Texas RN license required; temporary license will not be accepted
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department or ER nursing experience required
• BLS required
• ACLS required
• TNCC required
• NIHSS required
• PALS or ENPC required
• Meditech experience preferred
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to float as needed in a dynamic hospital setting

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a busy Emergency Department
• Assess, monitor, and treat patients with urgent and emergent conditions
• Support care for patients presenting with stroke, sepsis, chest pain, and behavioral health needs
• Assist with conscious sedation and intubations as directed
• Respond quickly to changing patient conditions in a high-acuity environment
• Document accurately in Meditech and maintain clear communication with the care team
• Adapt to floating requirements and contribute wherever patient care needs are highest
