Emergency Room Nurse Practitioner Corpus Christi, TX. This role involves providing critical nursing services in a busy emergency department with a focus on high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years of emergency department experience and be prepared to work night shifts in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Location: 3315 SOUTH ALAMEDA, CORPUS CHRISTI, TX, 78411
• Position Description: Candidate must have at least 2 years of emergency department experience as a registered nurse.
• Specialty: Emergency Room (ER)
• Shift Details: Nights, 12 hours shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Minimum of 2 years ER experience as an RN.
• Unit Information:
  • Number of beds: 12
  • Number of staff per shift: 5-6 RNs, 1 ER Tech, 1 Unit secretary
  • Patient ratio: 4:1
  • Equipment: Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
• Preferred Qualifications: Strong clinical skills in neuro and cardiac care, experience with STEMI, Stroke/TPA, and RSID procedures. High energy, fast-paced demeanor.
• Additional Information:
  • Dress code includes royal blue scrub color (not required).
  • Fastest bed assignment in Gulf Coast Division, with a 12-minute door-to-needle time for TPA.
