Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) - Lawton, OK. This role involves providing high-quality, compassionate, and timely emergency care within a fast-paced, 36-bed emergency department serving approximately 59,000 patients annually. The registered nurse will perform rapid assessments, interventions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details:
- Location: Lawton, OK
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Oklahoma (or compact license). Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. No minimum years of experience required.
- Preferred Qualifications: TNCC and ENPC certifications (preferred). Prior experience in Emergency Nursing, Critical Care, or high-acuity settings.
- Skills & Abilities: Strong critical thinking and rapid decision-making skills. Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and teamwork ability. Competency in trauma care, cardiac care, and stabilizing critically ill patients. Ability to remain calm and focused during high-stress situations.
- Additional Information: The ER RN will perform comprehensive assessments, triage using evidence-based protocols, provide rapid stabilization, administer medications and treatments, operate medical equipment such as cardiac monitors, infusion pumps, ventilators, and participate in protocols like rapid response, trauma activation, and code blue. Candidates must support a patient-centered care approach, demonstrate empathy, and maintain safety standards.
