Job Summary Emergency Room Clinical Nurse, North Carolina This position involves providing competent clinical nursing care in a hospital setting, focusing on patients with complex problems. The Clinical Nurse will coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process, with responsibilities including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care, as well as participating in interdepartmental collaboration and quality improvement activities.
Job Details
Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina; Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (AHA or ARC); Nursing Diploma or ADN/ASN from an accredited school of Nursing; 1 year of nursing experience.
Preferred Qualifications: BSN or MSN from an accredited school of Nursing.
Additional Information: Responsible for performing bedside point of care testing, patient assessment and education, discharge planning, and contributing to performance improvement activities. Demonstrates competence in care of patients with complex problems, and participates in development and achievement of unit goals.
