Job Summary
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) Sanford, North Carolina. This position involves providing high-quality emergency nursing care at a 137-bed acute care hospital. The role requires working night shifts in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, supporting patients of all ages with a variety of medical emergencies. The RN will contribute to delivering exceptional patient care while adhering to established protocols and safety standards.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights shift, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: 2 years of emergency nursing experience, valid licensure as an RN, certifications including ACLS, BLS, NIH, de-escalation training (HWC, CPI or MAB), PALS, and a minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Emergency medicine, psych ER experience a plus.
- Additional Information: The unit has 21 beds, including 12 telemetry beds, 3 behavioral health beds, and 5 fast track rooms. The patient population includes all ages, with common diagnoses such as COPD, DKA, sepsis, cardiac emergencies, neurological emergencies, and stroke. The RN should be a fast-paced, multi-tasker who embraces a dynamic environment and functions well as part of a team.
- Location: 1135 Carthage Street, Sanford, North Carolina, 27330. The position is suitable for candidates located at least 60 miles from the facility.
