Registered Nurse Requirements

• Active RN license
• Recent Emergency Department or acute care nursing experience
• Strong prioritization, time management, and de-escalation skills
• Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity, fast-moving healthcare environment
• Team-oriented attitude with a patient-focused mindset
• Comfort working night shifts and participating in a rotating weekend schedule
• CPI training preferred

Emergency Department Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to Emergency Department patients with varying levels of acuity
• Perform rapid assessments, prioritize interventions, and respond to changing patient conditions
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to support efficient patient flow
• Manage emergency equipment and utilize unit technology in day-to-day patient care
• Support patient de-escalation and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment
• Assist with common ED procedures and clinical interventions as needed
• Maintain professional communication, attention to detail, and a positive team approach
