Job Summary Emergency Room Nurse (ER) Lone Tree, Colorado. This position involves providing high-quality emergency nursing care in a Level II trauma emergency department that is a certified chest pain and thrombectomy capable stroke center. The role offers an opportunity to work with advanced equipment and a dedicated, stable night shift team committed to patient safety and exceptional care.
Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, minimum of 1-year current acute care emergency department hospital experience, BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications, Colorado residence or qualified work authorization
Preferred Qualifications: Certification in Emergency Nursing (CEN), experience with Meditech electronic health record system, previous experience working in a high-volume emergency department
Additional Information: The department handles a busy patient volume with a 30% admit rate, comprising low acuity and high acuity patients, including EMS cases. Procedures include sedation with Propofol, Etomidate, and Ketamine. The unit emphasizes a proactive and engaged care approach, with leadership involved in direct patient care, staff education, and patient rounds. The facility has recently implemented new pain management therapies to improve patient outcomes and community perception.
