Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Department nursing experience
• At least 1 previous travel nursing assignment required
• Current ACLS, BLS, NIH, and PALS certifications
• Strong IV start and phlebotomy skills
• Experience with emergency medications, dysrhythmia interpretation, and central line care/management
• Cerner experience preferred
• Charge nurse, triage, and preceptor experience preferred
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced emergency room setting with pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients with urgent and emergent conditions
• Perform rapid assessments, prioritize care, and support triage workflows in a busy ED
• Administer emergency medications and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Start and maintain IV access, assist with phlebotomy, and manage central line care as needed
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and collaborate with the care team on dysrhythmia management
• Deliver safe, compassionate care across all age groups in a high-volume emergency department
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members to support efficient patient flow
• Provide charge support or leadership assistance as training and unit needs allow
