Job Summary: Emergency Room (ER) Nursing position in Wichita, Kansas. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a busy emergency department setting. The position requires a dedicated healthcare professional to work night shifts, contributing to urgent and critical care needs.
Job Details:
Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Valid nursing license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale); minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital experience; location in Wichita, KS; minimum 0 years of experience.
Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Float: Float rotation may be required.
Additional Information: The nurse will work in a 14-bed emergency department with a patient ratio of 1:3-4, utilizing Meditech electronic medical records. Typical procedures include central line insertion, chest tubes, thoracic lavage, and intubations. Candidates should be independent, self-motivated, caring, and possess excellent customer service skills.
