Med Ninjas is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Lewiston, Maine.
Job Summary (List Format):
- Must not be a previous employee of St. Mary’s
- Local travelers receive a $10/hr lower local rate
- Travelers with license or background issues will not be accepted
- Must be willing and able to work as charge nurse and preceptor if needed
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the Emergency Department (ED) setting required
- Essential member of the patient care team responsible for direct and indirect patient care
- Responsible for patient assessment upon admission and throughout stay
- Administers IV medications, therapies, and blood products as needed
- Provides patient education
- Documents nursing care, teachings, observations, and patient responses
- Works in the Cecile J. Coulomb Emergency Center and Chest Pain Center
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
- At least 1 year of previous critical care nursing experience required
Med Ninjas Job ID #17802. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
