Requirements:
3+ years RN experience
MI RN License in hand – REQUIRED
Epic experience required
Combined Adult/Pediatric ER experience required
1:4 patient ratio experience required
ACLS, BLS/BCLS, NIHSS, PALS & TNCC required
Strong Trauma/Neuro, Stroke, Cardiac, Respiratory & Pediatric ER experience
First-time travelers accepted
No local travelers within 50 miles
Must be willing to float within service line/scope
Description:
27-bed Rural Emergency Department with an average daily census of 76.
Cares for Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults & Geriatrics.
Primary Stroke Center with 24/7 ED providers, charge nurses, triage nurses, and house supervisor coverage.
Required experience includes dysrhythmia interpretation/management, blood products, central lines, IV starts, phlebotomy, sedation, IV vasopressors, procedural sedation, CVA, neuro/trauma, TBI, ortho-trauma, ABGs, ventilated patients, CPAP/BiPAP, and triage.
Pyxis medication system and Epic charting.
