Job Summary Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse Charlotte, North Carolina. The healthcare organization is seeking a dedicated ER Registered Nurse to join the team on night shifts. The role involves providing exceptional emergency care to a diverse patient population including pediatrics to geriatrics, with a focus on trauma stabilization, stroke care, respiratory illnesses, and behavioral health.
Job Details
Certifications, Education, and Experience Requirements: Registered Nurse license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale), CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute); minimum 2 years of ER experience required
Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
Patient Population and Responsibilities: Care for general Emergency Department patients, including trauma stabilization, respiratory issues, stroke, behavioral health, and acute myocardial infarction, among others
Support and Technology: Support within the department includes ED physicians and advanced practice providers, social workers, and specialized staff. Technologies utilized include EMR (Electronic Medical Record) system, IV Pump, Med Dispensing, monitors, and communication systems.
Floating: Floating between facilities within the region may be required based on operational needs.
Orientation: Two days of departmental orientation are provided.
Additional notes: Scrub color is navy blue; free parking is available. The environment is welcoming, helpful, and busy.
