Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in a multifunctional emergency department. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of ED charge experience and will be comfortable working in various areas including Geriatric, Pediatrics, and Psychiatric settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care in emergency situations, identifying and addressing critical conditions promptly.
• Administer medications and treatments, including Stroke/TNK administration.
• Lead and mentor nursing staff, promoting effective team collaboration.
• Utilize Cerner for documentation and patient management.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) with at least 2 years of emergency department charge experience.
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, & PALS.
• Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum score of 80% overall and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms.
• Experience in managing patients in diverse departments, including Geriatrics, Pediatrics, and Psychiatry.
• Completion of at least one travel assignment is required.

Work Schedule

This position requires a commitment to a night shift schedule of 3x12 hours from 19:00 to 07:30. Every other weekend and holiday will be required.
