Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse in Jamestown, North Dakota. This position involves providing comprehensive nursing care to patients of all ages in a dynamic and fast-paced emergency department environment. The role requires coordination with multidisciplinary teams, leadership in patient care, and adherence to established clinical standards. The nurse will utilize electronic charting systems and participate in ongoing department orientation and training.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shifts (day/night), 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Active Compact or North Dakota Registered Nurse (RN) license; at least 1 year of Emergency Room (ER) experience; ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications; willingness to wait for license submission; ability to work variable schedules including every third weekend; current Flu Shot; proficient in electronic charting using EPIC-ASAP Module.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cardiac care knowledge; familiarity with computerized medication systems.
• Additional Information: Orientation will include hospital and department-specific training. Position involves floating to other units/departments; however, the nurse will not float beyond designated areas. The unit features an 11 nurse-to-patient ratio depending on patient volume.
