Job Summary: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) in Rockville, Connecticut. This position involves providing specialized emergency care to adult and pediatric patients within a fast-paced environment. The RN will be responsible for utilizing their clinical skills to stabilize patients, perform procedures, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details:
Position: RN - Emergency Room (ER)
Location: Rockville, Connecticut
Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week, with every other weekend and holiday shifts required
Required Qualifications:
Active Connecticut license or compact license
At least 2 years of experience in emergency nursing
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience
Experience with adult and pediatric ER patients
Competency with IV insertion, cardiac monitoring, procedural sedation support, stroke and sepsis care, and emergency stabilization
Preferred Qualifications:
TNCC and CPI/NCI certifications
Experience with Alaris infusion pumps and standard emergency department (ED) equipment
Previous travel experience (preferred but not required)
Additional Information:
Must be willing to work 12-hour shifts, every other weekend and holiday
