- Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- Hours Per Week: 36 hours
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 - $1,890
- Weekend Coverage: Required
- Holiday Coverage: Every other holiday
- Time Off: Limited time off available; block scheduling cannot be guaranteed
- Orientation: 24 hours
- Charting System: Epic

Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience required
- Must have either 1 year of Level I trauma facility experience or 2 years of Level II trauma facility experience
- Experience caring for pediatric patients required
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC required
- TNCC may be pending at submission, but must be completed before start
- Epic experience required
- Strong experience with Level I and Level II trauma care, triage, and high-acuity emergency nursing
- Virginia RN license may be pending at submission, but must be in hand before start
- BSN preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a busy Emergency Department with a daily census of approximately 165 visits
- Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
- Perform triage, assessment, intervention, and ongoing monitoring for emergency patients
- Care for patients presenting with trauma, chest pain, stroke, and other emergent conditions
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary support teams including respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, social services, and more
- Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and support efficient patient flow in a fast-paced emergency care environment
- Float within scope as needed and adapt to changing staffing needs
- Support weekend, holiday, and variable scheduling requirements as assigned
