Assignment Overview
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department (ED) in Concord, NC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trauma care and emergency nursing, capable of handling a wide range of patient conditions. This opportunity is suitable for nurses with significant ED experience who are adaptable to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Shift Details: 7a-7p, 11a-11p, 3p-3a, 7p-7a; weekend rotation every other weekend
Local candidates must live 50 miles outside of the home unit

Responsibilities
Manage trauma patients, including GSW, stabbing, and MVA cases
Provide care for patients with various conditions such as stroke, heart failure, and respiratory illnesses
Administer critical care drips and manage blood products
Perform conscious sedation, PIV starts, and chest tube management
Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to medical emergencies
Qualifications
Required:
2 years of Emergency Department experience
BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI certifications
Experience with trauma and stroke care
Preferred:
TNCC certification
