• On-Call: 1-2 on-call shifts per 6-week schedule period
• Weekend Commitment: 6 weekend shifts in 6 weeks
• Holiday Commitment: 1 major and 1 minor holiday
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,810-$1,910
• Epic Access: Required

Job Requirements

• Active RN license with current Emergency Room / Emergency Department experience
• Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience
• Strong background in high-acuity emergency care
• Experience in a Level I or Level II trauma setting preferred
• Proficiency with Epic EMR
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC, and CPI required
• Previous travel nurse experience preferred
• Ability to manage a fast-paced, high-volume emergency care environment
• Willingness to support occasional on-call and weekend coverage
• Ability to float to nearby offsite ED locations as needed

Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled, compassionate care to patients in a busy emergency department
• Assess, triage, and stabilize patients with a wide range of urgent and emergent conditions
• Support stroke, STEMI, and trauma-related care workflows
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure efficient patient flow
• Provide care in non-acute and monitored ED areas as assigned
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in Epic
• Respond appropriately to behavioral health and security-supported situations
• Float to nearby emergency departments when needed
• Help maintain a safe, organized, and patient-focused care environment
