Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse position in Clinton, Illinois. This role involves providing direct and indirect patient care in the emergency department, assessing patient outcomes, consulting with specialists and ancillary departments, and adjusting nursing care processes to ensure optimal patient care and efficient flow through the ER. The position requires strong communication skills to coordinate with Emergency Department physicians regarding changes in patient condition and diagnosis results. The shift is scheduled for mid-shift hours from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., with rotating weekends.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Mid-shift, 11:00 a.m. 11:30 p.m., with rotating weekends
• Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse license within the State of Illinois; BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required; ENPC, TNCC, TNS preferred; No minimum years of experience required, position is open to candidates with 0 or more years of experience
• Preferred Qualifications: ENPC, TNCC, TNS certifications are preferred but not required
• Additional Information: The role involves responding quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment, evaluating outcomes, and ensuring care that addresses the psychosocial, physical, and communication needs of patients and their families.
